The Heart Behind Robinson Capuno International
Robinson Capuno International (RCI) was founded on a lifelong promise to bring hope, dignity, and opportunity to the people of Lingatong, Vito, Balamban, Cebu, a mountain community where some still lack access to clean water, proper sanitation, or safe housing.
My first visit to the Philippines in 1981 changed my life. I saw hardship, yes, but also unshakable faith and radiant joy in the hearts of the Filipino people. For over four decades, I have remained committed to helping this community through education, housing, and simple acts of kindness.
Formed in memory of my mother and my daughter's grandfather, RCI now seeks to advance its mission by providing clean water, sanitation, safe housing, and education as the foundation for sustainable transformation. Each project works together to empower families, restore health, and open doors to self-sufficiency.
RCI is more than an organization; it is a promise kept. A bridge of compassion between Austin, Texas, and the hills of Cebu, built on faith, love, and the belief that when we lift one village, we lift a generation.
